Three Valentines Day Ideas in Palm Beach

Updated: Mar 8, 2023

We’ve rounded up these 3 hidden gems that will make your Valentine’s Day extra special.

Clandestine Culinary:

Turn up the romance with this limited-seating, one of a kind, dining experience. This creative 8-course dinner happening only on Friday nights is a collaboration between Chef Emerson Frisbie and Chef James Cruz. The ever-changing menu offered by Clandestine Culinary is seasonally inspired, pre-set, and carefully curated. Substitutions are politely declined to preserve the integrity of the dishes. But we loved this. It made the experience a gastronomic adventure. You can accompany your menu with wine or non-alcoholic options curated by a level 3 Sommelier. This hidden gem is food-focused and is currently held on the back patio of Palm Beach Meats.

Elegant, minimalistic, and luxurious, Johan Jones offers a Scandinavian menu hosted by the sommelier @jon.wine. Couples can relax on beautiful velvety chairs under a sparkling crystal chandelier while tasting a wide selection of wines.

The restaurant offers a regular menu and curated dining experiences. Our favorite dishes were: the shrimp rye flatbread made to order, the verlasso salmon and the key west shrimp crepe. We finished the night with Swedish chocolate balls and an espresso.

For a Mediterranean dining experience head out to @amardelray who offers modern adaptations of traditional Middle Eastern dishes. With both outdoor and indoor seating, this cozy restaurant will bring you vibes of a far land (even if you are in the middle of Atlantic Ave). Their diverse menu is filled with small plates meant to be shared. Amar’s curated wine list offers bottles from boutique wineries in Lebanon, Greece, Southern France, Italy, and Northern California. Craft beers and a selection of mocktails are also available. Amar’s resident sommelier will help you pair the perfect wine with your choice of dishes. This is slow dining so come prepared to spend a couple of blissful hours.

Our favorite dishes were: the classic Hummus, Labneh, Chankleesh (our favorite app), Roasted Brussel Sprouts and we closed the night with the Semolina Cake
